Performance Leadership LLC was founded to bridge the gap between empowering a team and achieving high-level results. We are dedicated to maximizing the impact of limited resources by emphasizing teamwork and customization according to individual customer needs. Our foundation is built on establishing repeatable, high-quality programs that serve as the basis for sustained competitive excellence.
The Backstory
Performance Leadership LLC was born from over three decades of elite experience inside Olympic and high-performance sport organizations. The system was forged in the "crucible of real-world pressure" at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC), where Alan Ashley served as the Chief of Sport Performance.
Alan’s approach was heavily influenced by his early years as the Head Ski Coach at the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he learned from Norwegian teammates the value of individualized training and building a "base" for success. Throughout his career, he realized that many leadership "systems" were theoretical; he wanted to create an entity that offered a tested solution to resolve chaos.
Performance Leadership LLC is important because it finally codifies a lived system that helped shape Performance Leadership—moving it from an unwritten practice to a replicable, scalable model for anyone seeking a culture of purpose and pride.
